Online Whiteboard (Excalidraw Hosted)
A self-hosted Excalidraw-based online whiteboard under my own domain, offering the same drawing experience with simpler, cheaper pricing for individuals and small teams.
Overview
Draw.vortechron is my hosted version of the open-source Excalidraw project, running under my own domain with a focus on affordability and simplicity.
It provides the familiar Excalidraw experience—fast sketching, infinite canvas, and hand-drawn style diagrams—without users needing to manage their own deployment or infrastructure.

My Contributions
Although the core drawing engine comes from the open-source Excalidraw project, I:
- Deployed and configured the app under my own infrastructure
- Integrated authentication and basic account management (where supported)
- Added pricing logic and billing integration for a cheaper paid tier
- Tuned UI/UX and settings to fit my personal workflow and target audience
I actively track the upstream Excalidraw project so I can pull in updates and improvements.
Technical Overview
- Built on the Excalidraw open-source codebase (React + TypeScript)
- Self-hosted under my own infrastructure and domain
- Configured for production (HTTPS, caching, environment separation, backups)
- Ready to be extended with more collaboration and team features over time
